Mélange d’idées de couleurs d’identités
I’m the sibling of water and light, my name is color
Refrain
------
------
Yellow face, red ears, blond mop, pulpy lips, flat nose… anger, joy, serenity, sadness, fear, plenitude, resentment, love…The fig tree meets the olive one, the universe is a mixture of ideas, colors, identities, resents…and from distant origins of the universe: a blend. A body without its five limbs is not one anymore. It is the thread and the needle that weave the tunic… Patchwork.
Sibling of water and light, my name is color.

qui me dit d'ouvrir mes sens
d'y remplir beaucoup d'amour
et d'en donner aux gens de l'amour
nimu ma dikké man dey xamu ma ko

------
------
Beyond affection, beyond attraction and passion, before desire and when the melody of senses wilts…love is. I had to weary of seeking it, decide to wait for it, forget that I was in its wait, so that it finally turns up. Open heart, disarmed soul, being without bonds, Love made me.

------
------
The lion has roared. Njaay Gainde has informed me of the distress of Sine and Saloum. Rains become rare, meager crops and meager livestock. Lion cubs leave the lair and make of themselves towns’ rats. The noble farmer and wise shepherd is no more than a vulgar merchant in search of benefit. Yet, the wise Serers say that a man has certainty of nothing else but only the love that his mother and his wife bear for him.

------
------
The world, are we told, has become a village. We’re also said to be at home in it; free to move, to go and come back when we want. What to say when “we” does not stand for “Us” anymore? When you were inviting yourself in home mine, it was regardless of my opinion, but a house is never narrow, our wise men say us, the heart of the host on the contrary can be lacking in place. Do you believe in the freedom of moving that you profess if at any time I should come at your home you ask me to declare my good faith? Home is where dignity is preserved.

------
Rosary around the neck, around the wrist or parading between the thumb and the forefinger, tongues in oration, hearts in meditation, spirits in contemplation, bodies in intense activity; disciples steer for Daaru. This place where the light of Cheikh Mussa Cisse has irradiated in the temporal, this station where the soul recalls itself and just become one with what IS; annihilating itself with neither past nor future, without here nor there, without up and down, without outside nor inside but subsistent with all these at the same time. The Magal is a celebration, the rejoicing and gratitude of blissful souls, a reminiscence of a still prevailing moment, a revival.
